CCNA 11 (Cisco) course description 

The course describes the architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches in a small-to-medium network. We learned how to configure a router, switch and a wireless local area network (WLAN) for basic fundamentality. We were also able to configure and  troubleshoot  routers, switches and wireless resolve common issues with STP, DHCPv4, FHRPs, WLC, virtual LANs, and inter-VLAN routing in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks. This course also prepares you for certification as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Personal Reflection 

The CISCO 11 Class

Having done Cisco 1, this class further broaden my knowledge in device configuration using security best practices. The class was very interactive and intense especially when it came to the configurations. I had many sleepless nights in trying to configure and troubleshoot configurations, however, it was always a joy when in the final analysis, your configurations worked flawlessly. 


Overall Learning Objective of CISCO 11 Class

The course gave me a broader understanding of networking, the origin of networking and why do we use networks. The main focus of this course were,

During the course, we were given a number of assignments where we had to use Cisco packet tracer for the assigned tasks.
